Jesse has been writing his entire life and has had his poetry and short stories published in literary magazines and online periodicals. After earning his degree in literature, he worked in sales and marketing for several years for a start-up financial recruitment agency. When the “Great Recession” hit Wall Street like an atom bomb, he decided to head back to school and get his Masters degree in English.

Trying to find a way to combine his love of words with his passion for sales, a friend offered him a freelance copywriting job at her growing SEM company. She loved his work, and he has been doing content marketing ever since.

He now writes for Fortune 500 companies and small businesses around the world. He applies traditional copywriting techniques with his ever growing knowledge of SEM and SEO.

Jesse met Shaun while working at a local public high school. The two of them shared an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion and skill for content marketing. It was not long before UCW was born!
